Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Offset Printing and Digital Printing?

There are several advantages to both forms of printing, please check our by going to the following link

Offset vs Digital Page

My printing came back a different colour to what it looked like on my screen

GET A PROOF - A COMPUTER SCREEN IS NOT PRINT. Your document might look good on screen, but Screen does not equal Print (they work differently). If using home programs we suggest you get a PROOF copy. Please contact us IMMEDIATELY if you require a proof.

What resolution should I set my artwork at?

Our machinery is constantly updated to keep up with high industry standards, however if your files are too dark/light or low resolution, they will print poorly and are BEYOND OUR CONTROL. To ensure a high quality output your files should be set at no lower than 300 DPI.

Can I use my Microsoft Office to set up my artwork?

We prefer files to be supplied as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDF files make sure your work doesn’t change from computer to computer. MS Word, Publisher, etc. can't deliver professional results. Excel is made for spreadsheets, PowerPoint for screen slideshows; neither is made for printing. We recommend that you use programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Coreldraw, etc. If you don’t have these programs we offer a graphic design or basic setup service at an hourly rate.
